Job Summary:
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials in the warehouse
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers and lift trucks
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations
- Basic math skills for inventory management tasks
- Familiarity with order picking and warehouse management systems
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse management
- Familiarity with operating a cherry picker
- Previous experience as an order picker or working with warehouse supervisors
