Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant for the Orthopedic unit is an essential member of the patient care team who contributes to the well-being and comfort of patients during their stay by providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the registered nurse.
The CNA will be responsible for assisting with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, oral care, hair care, shaving, and other activities of daily living.
They will aid the RN in performing vitals, providing post-op care, ambulation, mobility, and positioning. As part of an interdisciplinary team, they will actively participate in establishing plans of care.JOB REQUIREMENTS
