    1st & 2nd shift Welders - MIG (Steel & Aluminum) and TIG (Aluminum) - Salem OH

    Salem Fabrication is a reputable and established manufacturing company seeking skilled MIG Welders with expertise in both Steel and Aluminum, as well as proficient Aluminum TIG Welders to join our dynamic team.


    Position 1:
    MIG Welder - Steel and Aluminum


    Requirements:
    Minimum 1-5 years of MIG welding experience.
    Ability to pass applicable test (AWS D1.1) and non-destructive exams.
    Proficiency in shop math, blueprint/drawing reading, welding symbols, and general welding knowledge.
    Experience with MIG and Flux Core welding techniques.
    Strong attention to quality assurance and safety protocols.
    Capability to lift items up to 50lbs.
    Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
    Welder certifications recommended.
    Preferred experience with overhead/JIB crane and forklift operation.
    Ability to follow instructions.

    Successful completion of a weld test during the hiring process (Please dress appropriately and bring your own welding gloves and hood).


    Position 2:
    Aluminum TIG Welder


    Requirements:
    Minimum 3 years prior experience in aluminum TIG welding.
    Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
    Ability to set up welding machines based on job and welding procedure specifications.
    Skill in fitting products to blueprint specifications.
    Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
    Experience with overhead crane and forklift operation recommended.
    Ability to follow instructions.
    Successful completion of a weld test during the hiring process.
