The Lennar Foundation Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Moreover, the incumbent works in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures.
Preforms pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Reviews medical history, evaluating patients and determining proper methods of anesthesia.Monitors patient vital signs to ensure safety, to include skin color, pupil dilation, pulse, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, ventilation or urine output.
Manages patients airway or pulmonary status using techniques, such as endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, pharmacological support, respiratory therapy, and extubation.
Oversees patient recovery from anesthesia and cares for patients immediate post-operative needs.Prepares prescribed solutions and administers local, intravenous, spinal or other anesthetics following specified methods and procedures.
Develops anesthesia care plans. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Masters Degree in relevant field
