Catered by Design, a prominent and well-respected catering company in the Chicagoland area, is seeking experienced and motivated Bartenders, Servers, Kitchen Prep and Event Chefs to join its team of dedicated professionals.

About the Position:

All positions are expected to take pride in both themselves and the premier service that we provide to our guests.

Other responsibilities and duties include:

• Loading and unloading of catering vehicles for events.
• Experience and knowledge of the food and beverage items being served.
• Wearing a smile with pride, ensuring guests are greeted and while on the floor, maintaining a wellgroomed and inviting appearance.
• Setup and tear down of signature equipment, stations, tables, chairs, and other elements of fullservice catering.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Work well under high pressure situations and able to execute tasks as directed by Captain's, Head Chef's, and other lead roles.
• Able to work in different weather conditions with outside events during the summer season.
• Reliable transportation or access to public transportation for getting to and from events.
• Prior serving or food service experience is preferred.

Our scheduling systems puts our servers and bartenders in control of your availability, with the exception of peak periods, where we may ask or require mandatory shifts, but the conversation is always open if an exception needs to be made.
