A European Hotel Chain with a Boutique hotel in Manhattan is looking for outgoing, personable, city-knowledgeable and responsible front desk attendant
Full Time position

Position Summary:
The Front Desk Agent is a member of the Front Office team.
FIRE SAFETY DIRECTOR is mandatory for this position

They are responsible for:
Maintaining and promoting best customer service and hospitality at all times

Welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone, reservations and revenue management is included on the tasks.

Maintaining accurate fire and life safety log books in accordance with NYC Fire Code

Conduct drills, training and other day to day oversight of fire and life safety plan in accordance with NYC Fire Code

Ensure that all FDNY Inspections, Testing & Maintenance is scheduled, completed and documented

As part of this job, this individual is required to:

Demonstrate good computer skills; accurately handle cash and charges; stand for long periods of time; present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor.

Additional Responsibilities:

The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. All employees are expected to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
Employees are required to adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel and chain including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.

Shifts will vary Must be available for all shifts.

Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
