Position Summary Information

Objective

To perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, but not limited to condensers, pumps, motors, coils, fans and blowers, filters, boilers, cooling towers and related ancillary equipment.

To assist other technicians in the department in the performance of preventative maintenance and repairs on all components of the HVAC system.

Required Quals Summary

Some experience in HVAC systems

Mechanical knowledge

Valid driver's license in good standing

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Principal Accountabilities

Principal Accountabilities

Perform preventative maintenance as per established preventative maintenance program, and demonstrates proactive maintenance procedures.

Assist other technicians in the department with preventative maintenance and repairs of the HVAC system and equipment.

Assist with projects relating to the HVAC system.

Participates actively in established safety programs designed to provide a sage work environment.

Performs other duties as assigned.
