  • Schedule
**: 8am to 5pm. Hybrid schedule will follow after some initial training has been completed, 3 days in office, 2 remote.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

  • Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Analysis of and improvement to current pay practice.
  • Verify and balance files, pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
  • Training new team members.
  • Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
  • Support Management and Payroll with special functions / projects as needed.
  • Liaison with Human Resources, Operations, and representatives of Collective Bargaining Units.

Requirements:


Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; three or more years payroll experience in a multi-state environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Strong Excel skills are a must (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience with multientity environments.
  • Union Experience is a plus.

$ $36.00 per hour
