Description
As a Machine Shop Helper, you will be responsible for cleaning, organizing and assisting machinists with assigned tasks

  • Keep shop organized, clear of clutter and debris.
  • Clean up chips of various materials to ensure a safe and presentable work area.
  • Operate a forklift, overhead crane and/or pallet jack daily.
  • Operate a bandsaw to cut needed material.
  • Restock cutting oils, gear oils and solvents as needed.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as required.
This is a direct hire position. Starting pay is $1- 15/hr based on experience. Hours are M - F, 8 am - 4:30 pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch. Lots of room for growth. Benefits eligibility after 90 days.


Pay:
$ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
