Summary of Position:
The Technician fabricates a finished component through all necessary stages of assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- May build an entire production run, including mixing, coating, pressing, stripping, welding, winding, cell assembly and testing.
- Attach terminals or leads and assemble components.
- Place parts in ovens and operate at the specified timetemperature to produce a properly dried assembly.
- Place parts in filling tubes or pouches specified to incorporate electrolytes as specified.
- Seal product in cans or pouches using curling, sealing and welding equipment as specified.
- Work closely with Quality Department to produce a finished component that meets customer specifications.
- Maintain production records to record all specified data for each production batch.
- May assist personnel in the Engineering, R&D, and Production Teams
- Observe and practice appropriate environmental, safety and health policies and practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Maintain work area to be clean and orderly
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Work with hands, simple math, follow instruction
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
