    Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join our construction management team.

    The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering in a construction setting.

    This position will be full-time, on-site, within New York City, NY.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Working directly under the supervision of the Design Standards Unit Manager and the Assistant Manager.
    • Providing technical and design services in support of electrical design projects, in order to produce construction drawings and specifications for clients.
    • Reviewing construction documents, calculations, specifications, and reports for completeness with codes and standards.
    • Coordinating the review comments from others technical disciplines and preparing memoranda for transmitting comments to the line departments.
    • Attending meeting with project Architect/Engineer of Records to discuss the review comments and resolve the issues
    • perform additional duties as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Candidate must present the following qualifications to be considered eligible for this position:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of diverse experience in building electrical installation, protection, codes design.
    • Working familiarity with applicable local, state and national electrical codes (NEC).
    • Proper understanding of electrical discipline related to building design and construction of commercial facilities.
    • Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written
    • Comprehensive computer skills, proficient in MS Suite, and ability & interest to learn various in-house and external software (Share Point, eBuilder, etc.)
    • Professional engineer's license in State of New York and/or New Jersey required.
