    Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

    In this role, we will need you to translate business requirements into technical designs, considering automation, availability, performance, scale, and cost. Ensure technical & security best practices along with Broadridge standards are adhered to in the design of technical infrastructure. Be responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of the technical infrastructure for strategic Broadridge applications and services. Ensure the continuous health and reliability of the technical infrastructure, and the applications/services it supports, through Service Level Objectives (SLOs), metrics/Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and continuous operational process improvements. Work with Vendors to implement new capabilities and competencies to the Broadridge technical infrastructure.

    Lead technical design sessions and works closely with multiple teams, including application development teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and clients, if needed, to review t he infrastructure designs for new projects. Understand dependencies between infrastructure components, vendor software, custom software and other parts of the processing stack that support Broadridge Services. Work with senior leaders to design solutions with technical vision, sustainability, and total cost of ownership in mind. While also contributing in strategic planning discussions with technical, business, and client stakeholders.

    Experience:

    - 10+ years of experience working in a similar role within the fin-tech industry at both the infrastructure and software level.

    - Experience with Unix and/or Cloud-based solutions such as AWS or Azure.

    - Technical understanding of OS, Network, Storage and Databases in large datacenter environments including firewall, anti-virus, proxy, file transfer, and other enterprise-wide software.

    - Knowledge of system platforms (i.e. Virtualization, storage, IBM WebSphere MQ, Database technologies, file transfer protocols, encryption, certificates, Proxy, FortiGate firewalls).

    - Knowledge and experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Chef, and PowerShell/Perl/ Shell scripting.

    - Prior experience working within a matrixed managed organization, across multiple time zones.

    - Able to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and vision.

    - Knowledge of next-generation design patterns/architecture like micro-services, layered pattern, cloud.

    - Strong aptitude for learning new skills and new technologies.
