Summary:


This position is part-time which typically include leading academic enrichment and work-based learning experiences related to operational and mission-related performance for Rush University Medical Center.

Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with
REACH education team to provide work-based learning, professional skills, and research support for pipeline program; focus on supporting high school and college students in workforce development
Lead daily activities for program participants
Supervise students on program field trips and community outreach opportunities
Guide students with the development of capstone projects for the culminating event at end of program
Build relationships with businesses and community partners to support work-based learning, education and enrichment for youth
Conduct research to support development, implementation, and refinement of STEM/healthcare pipeline for under-represented groups; model should be aligned to evidence-based practices
Gathers, develops and furnishes data to assist in grant writing, reporting and budget preparations
Other duties as assigned
