Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to the veterinary staff
- Assist with animal restraint and handling during examinations or treatments
- Support grooming activities such as bathing and brushing animals
- Perform lifting tasks as needed to move animals or supplies
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all animals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in veterinary care, pet care, or animal handling preferred
- Ability to transport/carry animals when necessary
- Knowledge of basic animal care practices and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and follow veterinary protocols
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is a plus
- Passion for working with animals and providing topnotch care
