    Description

    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Credit Officer to join our team.

    The Chief Credit Officer will be responsible for overseeing all credit-related functions within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing risk effectively.


    Duties:

    • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
    • Manage the credit approval process for loans, lines of credit, and other financial products
    • Monitor credit risk exposure and develop strategies to mitigate risks
    • Lead a team of credit analysts and underwriters
    • Review and approve loan applications
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Analyze financial statements and credit reports
    • Collaborate with other departments to optimize credit processes

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in credit analysis, loan processing, or related roles
    • Strong knowledge of financial services industry regulations
    • Experience with FNMA, TILA, and escrow processes
    • Ability to negotiate effectively and make sound credit decisions
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in basic math and financial sales techniques
