    Description

    Position Summary

    The Admissions Advisor process admissions applications and determines admissibility and transferability of credit and residency for all new and readmitted undergraduate, and non-degree students. Additionally, this position processes admissions applications for graduate admissions. The Admissions Advisor acts as a liaison with various constituencies including students, parents, high school and college officials, faculty, academic departments, and colleges.

    This position utilizes computerized systems to communicate with students, process admissions, prepare reports, analyze data and assists with implementation of admissions-related policies and procedures.

    Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

    Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
