    Posit/RStudio System Administrator Engineer (W2 ONLY)

    Experience: 4+ YOE

    Location: Fully Remote but must be located in CONUS

We are seeking a highly skilled Posit/RStudio System Administrator to join our talented team and contribute to the success of our projects.

    Job Description:

    The Posit/RStudio System Administrator will be responsible for the enhancement, support, and administration of various data analytics projects. This role involves working as a Subject Matter Expert on Posit/RStudio systems, including Workbench Connect and Package Manager, coordinating with technical, network, platform, functional, and customer support teams.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Enhance and support Posit/RStudio deployments.
    • Coordinate as a Subject Matter Expert between various technical and support teams.
    • Provide user best-practice guidance, issue triaging, and documentation upkeep.
    • Support users with R, Python, and Shiny code development and troubleshooting.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in Posit administration and data science.
    • Proficient in installing, updating, and managing complex R, Python, and system dependencies in a Linux environment.
    • Familiarity with creating R and Python packages and multiple IDEs (R Studio, VS Code, Jupyter Labs/Notebook).
    • Familiarity with common data science and exploratory analysis Python and R libraries.

    Additional Skills (Preferred):

    • Experience with Kubernetes, Azure Container Registry.
    • Development experience with frameworks like Dash, Streamlit, Bokeh, Flask, etc.
    • Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS NIST standards.
    • Well-versed in healthcare IT systems, with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations.
