Position:
Clinical Director - The Wilder School


Summary:

The Clinical Director (CD) oversees all aspects of the mental health programming and mental health staff at The Wilder School.

The CD provides ongoing mental health training professional development to all staff.

The Clinical Director of the Hartford School District supervises and evaluates the CD at TWS.


Qualifications:


  • Must hold a license in Vermont in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or Clinical Mental Health

Job Functions:


  • Coleads with the TWS principal and Program Coordinators in program planning, oversight, and administration
  • Coleads with the Principal to ensure all staff implements the most current therapeutic and traumainformed practices
  • Clinically supervises all staff
  • Develops, organizes, and leads a system for supporting the families of the students that attend The Wilder School. This includes supporting the Mental Health Clinicians and Classroom Clinicians as they work directly with the families of students at The Wilder School.
  • Facilitates weekly clinical staff meetings
  • Facilitates professional development for staff
  • Coleads program meetings with the program coordinator
  • Consults with and supports staff and students during crises
  • Supports the Mental Health Clinicians to develop individual therapeutic treatment plans for students.
  • Supports staff with the implementation of students' treatment plans
  • When applicable, provides licensure supervision for clinical staff
  • Earns CPI certification
  • Participates/leads in incident processing meetings

Pay:
$50, $90,000.00 per year
