Description
Overview
A Lead Python Application Developer role is available, requiring 7+ years of overall experience with 1-3 years in an ESG technology focused role within the asset management or financial services industry.
Key Requirements
Proficiency in Python and basic libraries for machine learning like scikit-learn and pandas.
Experience with machine learning tools such as scikit-learn, R, Theano, TensorFlow, SparkML, or Foundry.
Expertise in using various modeling types like classification, regression, time series, clustering, text analytics, survival, association, optimization, and reinforcement learning to solve business problems.
Understanding of data models, large datasets, business/technical requirements, BI tools, and statistical programming languages and libraries.Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization libraries such as matplotlib or ggplot2, and additional visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI, Quick Sight, or Tableau.
Familiarity with cloud and computing technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain data flow design and technical requirements documentation meeting Agile product development standards.
Develop models aligned with business objectives, establish metrics for tracking progress, and demonstrate the performance of algorithmic approaches.
Utilize a range of modern technologies like Python, R, Scala, and Spark for analyzing large datasets, implementing systems for data collection, curation, and model training.
Analyze diverse data sources, extract features, train and test models, and operationalize models to enhance business outcomes significantly.Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build predictive algorithms.
Conduct model training and hyperparameter tuning to optimize performance.
