Overview:

Duties:

Conduct user acceptance testing to validate that the software meets the enduser expectations
Collaborate with the development team to investigate and analyze root causes of defects
Write and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans
Document and track defects using bug tracking tools
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards
Assist in creating and maintaining test data and test environments

Experience:

1+ years of experience in software quality assurance or related field
Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and techniques
Experience with root cause analysis and defect tracking
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database testing
Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Rat, Vaticinate, or Eclipse
Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus
Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with TestNG or other testing frameworks
