Description

As a dental assistant in the field of oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery or dental, oral and maxillofacial medicine, you will learn to provide care for outpatient patients at the reception, coordinate appointments, assist with dental treatments, prepare billing and much more. Working as part of a team of dentists and surgeons, our dental assistants will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The training program offers a diverse range of experiences through a rotation system, providing a comprehensive insight into outpatient dentistry and oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery at Europe's largest university hospital.

Your responsibilities

Greet patients at the reception, manage patient records and coordinate appointments for treatments
Learn and perform pre- and post-treatment preparations in the outpatient or treatment rooms
Clean, maintain and disinfect instruments, equipment and facilities
Learn to operate dental equipment, prepare specialized X-rays and assist with medical and dental treatments, as well as potential surgical procedures
Learn to fill out treatment, healing and cost plans, and prepare outpatient billing for health insurance companies
