Essential Responsibilities:
Health, Safety and Environment

Provides strong positive leadership that motivates and engages facility leadership & workforce with respect to quality, safety, health and environmental initiatives.
Engages positively with other Leaders to ensure safety plans are in practice to protect employees, vendors, visitors, and physical assets.
Establishes policies and procedures designed to promote employee health and safety, as well as ensures compliance with applicable regulations. Analyzes applicable data encouraging positive performance & addressing negative trends.
Remains current on all safety & environmental standards. Tracks developments in environmental law and regulation, auditing site &operations to ensure compliance with all safety rules, OSHA and State environmental regulations and standards.
Leads applicable risk management activities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Strong passion for safety and environmental excellence.

Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience, in a manufacturing environment

Internal/external ISO 9000 certification; ISO 14000 and OSHA 1801 preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to manage personnel effectively, providing performance feedback and opportunities for development and growth.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment across geographic boundaries

MicroSoft Office suite literacy & fluency required.
