Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our team.
As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and delivering exceptional patient care.
This is a full-time position in a hospital setting.Responsibilities:
- Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office and examination rooms
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical office assistant program preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient in medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
