    **Job Description: Project Manager**

    **Location:** 35 East Chestnut, Columbus, OH (Onsite 2 days/week)

    **Company:** The Ohio Department of Children and Youth Office of Information Technology

    **Overview:**

    We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in supporting The Ohio Department of Children and Youth Office of Information Technology. This role will involve overseeing project teams, managing project tasks, ensuring adherence to standards, and delivering successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record in project management.

    **Responsibilities:**

    Organize, manage, and direct project team tasks, ensuring adherence to PMO standards, tools, and methodologies.

    Develop project plans and supervise their execution.

    Manage project stakeholders, team members, and communications.

    Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes.

    Oversee project schedule and budget, ensuring successful delivery.

    Resolve conflicts and ensure project success.

    **Qualifications:**

    Develop estimates for project planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.

    Ensure changes to scope are documented and approved.

    Monitor project milestones and phases, keeping the project on schedule.

    Prepare status reports for program team, leads, and stakeholders.

    Develop detailed program plans and facilitate final evaluation review.

    Tailor and baseline program templates and procedures.

    Coordinate proposals and presentations to agencies.

    Analyze and distribute reports on program metrics.

    Manage scope and gain agreement on scope changes with stakeholders.

    Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

    Anticipate issues and proactively address them.

    Ensure compliance with standards and procedures.

    Capture and report program management metrics.

    Facilitate achievement of program service commitments and performance metrics.

    Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.

    Identify and track issues, balancing workload with team capacity.

    Plan program-specific training and orientation needs.

    **Required Skills:**

    8 years of experience developing project plans and managing project scope, requirements, and timelines.

    8 years of vendor management experience.

    Ability to leverage institutional knowledge to advance project activities.

    Strong collaboration, negotiation, and assertiveness skills.

    Experience in developing strong client relationships.

    Experience working with government agencies is a plus.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visio.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    **Desired Skills:**

    Desired: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.

    Desired: ITIL 4 certification, Scrum Master certification.
