Operations Manager
AMS Fulfillment is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global industry. AMS Fulfillment continues to grow by providing more and more customers with solutions to their problems. We are looking for a full-time Operations Manager to join our growing team.


Position Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities within the warehouse. This position will oversee all fulfillment operations, including safety, production, quality, and shipping functions. The Operations Manager will also coordinate with external parties as needed.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all fulfillment operations including safety, production, quality, shipping, and inventory functions
  • Ensure that plant operations comply with regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Provide leadership and inspiration for a team that operates in a fastpaced environment
  • Manage the training of the team and assist in development of the team's skills
  • Coordinate with external parties as needed regarding plant operations
  • Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
  • Monitor quality control activities and report any issues to appropriate departments for resolution or action
  • Ensure that all safety procedures are followed at all times and that work is done in an appropriate manner
  • Monitor activities within the plant to ensure they follow established policies and procedures within specific departments or areas of responsibility (i.e., security, quality, etc.)and report any issues to appropriate departments or outside parties as needed
  • Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping system (Paycom)
  • Interviews and trains prospective and new team members
  • Works with Account Management/Client Services to meet or exceed the clients' requirements
  • Prepares assessment reports and monitors productivity rate
  • Ensures team understands and works towards performance goals
  • Recommends process improvements within the warehouse
  • Ensures compliance to all company and customer policies and procedures

Qualifications:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced work environment
  • Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in a management/supervisory role
  • Microsoft Office experience needed
  • 3PL experience is a PLUS

Pay:
$52, $75,000.00 per year
