Service Administrator - South Boston, United States - D.H. Pace Company, Inc.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to understand their service needs and enter detailed information in the service ticket to assure accuracy for our technicians.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests, understanding that communication is key.
- Understand each technicians strengths and weaknesses to assure dispatching the correct fit for each call and ensuring efficiency.
- Scheduling technicians geographically to ensure efficiency.
- Making sure by end of each day that each technicians schedule is set for the following day.
- Subcontractor scheduling. Ensuring subcontractors stay on track and complete customer service requests in a timely manner.
- Purchase parts and track returns.
- Create service quotes when requested by customers.
- Represent the company professionally with excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward customers regardless of the circumstance.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior dispatch and administrative experience.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Technical knowledge in the security industry would be helpful.
