About The Job

SHE-CAN is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator to join our growing team in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This person will work closely with the development team to manage donor engagement, initiate and write grants, and provide support for other fundraising tasks and events.


SHE-CAN (Supporting Her Education Changes A Nation) is a global non-profit organization that builds female global leadership in post-conflict countries.

We help passionate young leaders win scholarships to U.S. colleges and universities, provide them with leadership training, and pair them with U.S. mentor teams who help them thrive in college and launch change-agent careers at home.

To date, we have helped 119 young women from Rwanda, Cambodia, Liberia, and Guatemala win $27M+ in full scholarships at top U.S.

colleges.

You will be part of a growing and dynamic team that will produce some of the world's next great female leaders and change agents.


Primary Responsibilities:

Spearhead and manage all outreach for current and prospective donors for the SHE-CAN Gala - Revolution 2.0

Assist in drafting a broad range of materials for current and prospective donors including media outreach, end of year letters, on-line campaigns, etc

Administer the development department's usage of Salesforce to track donor correspondence, donor relationship activity and keep background information up-to-date and actionable

Generate and manage revenue estimates and donor reports.

Assist in developing the Fundraising strategy

Benefits and Compensation


Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $6- 68K annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
