Description

Ruston 'DB Energie GmbH is the energy manager of Deutsche Bahn for the railway in Germany. This makes us responsible for the operation of the 16.7 Hz railway power grid, 50 Hz systems, 110 kV railway power lines, the direct current supply of the Hamburg and Berlin S-Bahn, as well as for renewable energies, such as the charging infrastructure for battery trains. We also stand for sustainable supply of railway power and offer comprehensive energy efficiency measures for railway companies.

We are currently looking for you as a (Junior) Electrical Engineer for energy technical consulting (m/f/d) for DB Energie GmbH at our location in Karlsruhe.
Your tasks:

As a driver of the energy and mobility transition, you will be part of an innovative and dynamic team where we lead projects for energy systems and renewable generation systems, as well as responsible for concepts for supplying alternatively powered transport until implementation

You support us in this and develop technical concepts and analyses for non-standardized problems and presentations for clients

The timely and budget-compliant processing of customer orders and solutions for internal and external customers is part of your area of responsibility

You work with our internal partners in marketing the products of the technical service area. Our main tasks are in the area of charging infrastructure for cars and buses, supply of alternatively powered rail vehicles and photovoltaic systems
