    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

    Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
    Location: Piedmont, CA

    Sunbelt isworking with a school in the Piedmont, CAarea who is seeking a reliable and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for the remainder of the 2024/2025school year. The position involves working with children who have autism or other developmental disabilities in a school setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implementing therapy sessions as prescribed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    • Documenting progress and data collection
    • Collaborating with teachers and other school personnel
    • Conducting functional assessments and creating behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
    • Teaching social and communication skills
    • Providing positive reinforcement strategies
    • Modeling and training communication and social skills
    • Communicating effectively and professionally with parents, peers, and supervisors

    Requirements:

    • Active RBT certification required
    • Must have school experience
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to follow and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Experience with data collection and progress monitoring
    • Availability during the school day
    • must be eligible to work in the U.S.
