Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Public Health Officer to join our team in Fountainebleau, FL.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with public health standards on board our ships, including disease surveillance, prevention and control of infectious illnesses, food safety, water safety, and pest management.

You will provide support, guidance, conduct audits, deliver trainings, and maintain effective communication to ensure the highest level of public health on our vessels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shipboard compliance with public health standards, including disease surveillance, prevention and control of infectious illnesses, food safety, water safety, and pest management.
  • Support the ship's COVID19 response plan and report findings to the Hotel Director and Head of Public Health Department.
  • Assist with additional projects as assigned by the shoreside Public Health Department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, environmental health, biological sciences, or a related field preferred.
  • Two years of shipboard experience or three years of fulltime shoreside experience in implementing, overseeing, or auditing public health programs.
