Boundless **is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager for our Tempe, AZ location. This person will manage the warehouse operations ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse. They will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Warehouse Manager responsibilities include managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision, overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations, and setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization. Ultimately, they should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.


Essential Functions

_ Systems_

  • Leverage the Company's ERP system.
  • Deploy warehouse management system (WMS) where required.
  • Utilized inventory management, order fulfillment/tracking, and barcode scanning as needed.

_ Organization_

  • Responsible for the physical layout of the warehouse facility to optimize space.
  • Maintain an organized inventory with logical placement and overflow areas.
  • Be sure all locations are clearly marked with signage
  • Take pride in the overall physical condition of the warehouse facility

_ Management_

  • Manage all aspects of warehouse personnel and staff.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and development of warehouse staff
  • Own staff performance and improvements making changes as necessary.
  • Keep warehouse labor and operating costs at or below budget
  • Ensure the warehouse is meeting or exceeding SLA commitments

_ Process_

  • Take a systematic approach to the operations of the warehouse
  • Identify, develop and implement processes to cover all operations in the warehouse
  • Develop SOP's for all processes
  • Measure, report and bring visibility to all warehouse functions

_ Stress Management_

  • Take a handson approach to the running of the warehouse
  • Display confidence as a leader
  • Anticipate challenges and develop solutions to meet the challenges.
  • Ability to flex warehouse labor staff during peak times

_ Performance Management_

  • Identify and develop metrics to measure warehouse operational efficiency
  • Report results on a frequent basis

Job Specifications

  • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager, preferably 610 years Warehouse Operations Experience in Promotional Products or Related Industry.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Proficient in shipping software (i.e., ShipStation, FedEx, UPS)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
