Maintenance Supervisor II to join our team at
The Cove, **a 173-units market community located in

**Worcester, MA.
This opportunity offers a typical work schedule with a rotational on-call schedule.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain Warranty and Claims.
  • Maintain the maintenance operation at the property on a daytoday basis as a working supervisor in the following areas: appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management activities.
  • Complete monthly building and unit inspections to ensure property is maintained to operating standards.
  • Review third party property inspections to resolve maintenance repairs.
  • Prepare work schedule for other supervisors and vendors to complete service requests and maintain the preventive maintenance program.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
  • Solicit bids from contractors with approval from the Property Manager and Regional Maintenance Manager.
  • Participate in oncall activity during offhours and emergencies.
  • Requirements

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 35 years of relevant work experience.
  • 13 years of supervisory experience.
  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance, and HVAC.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and work with a diverse group of people and personalities.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Vocational or technical training.
  • CAMT certification.
  • HVAC certification.
