Description
We are looking for a part-time caregiver (m/f/d) for our senior center St. Vitus in Lumberton.

Your tasks will include reading or reading together in a group, singing and using music therapy elements in a group, movement exercises and chair dancing in a group, leading playgroups, memory training, biographical work, individual conversations, instruction in handicraft and artistic activities such as cooking, baking, and painting, promoting fine and gross motor skills, accompanying walks and shopping trips, organizing events such as movie nights and neighborhood festivals, accompanying residents to invitations and church services, and documenting resident-related activities as proof of social care.

Your profile should include a completed further education as a caregiver according to § 43b SGB XI (m/f/d), empathy and social competence, a confident and friendly demeanor, and a willingness to work with predominantly dementia-affected individuals.
