Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations in our warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely receipt and shipment of materials and customer orders.


Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate receiving, picking, and shipping to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee the unloading, sorting, and inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Create and maintain a daily status report for the warehouse with production and purchasing
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system as needed
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
• Train and mentor new team members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center setting
• Strong knowledge of logistics, materials handling, and shipping/receiving processes
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment
• Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and other departments
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

$55, $65,000.00 per year
