What you will be working on:

  • Participating in and managing development projects for new products and optimization of the existing product portfolio
  • Defining product concepts, technical requirements, pilot tests, and concept proofs
  • Supporting the sales team and customers in technical product inquiries and requirements
  • Monitoring competitors to identify new products and technical features and contribute new ideas for product definition
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations for building systems and wood-based panel business
  • Assisting with certification processes at individual locations
  • Acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and individual production sites to evaluate and solve technical feasibility studies, optimize features, and address production difficulties

What makes you successful with us:

  • Degree in engineering in a technical field, preferably in chemistry, industrial, materials, or wood technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar areas, ideally in the wood processing industry
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in project management
  • Business-minded and innovative thinking
  • Strong analytical and strategic/conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel and Power Point)
