As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations within our automotive service department.

• Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns
• Document customer issues and service needs accurately
• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper vehicle diagnosis and repairs
• Provide cost estimates for repairs and services
• Schedule appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area

• Prior experience in a dealership or auto body repair shop is preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical terms related to shocks, struts, brake repair, diesel engine repair, and transmission is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy
• Basic mechanical knowledge to understand service requirements
• Proficiency in computer systems for documentation and scheduling

• Experience in suspension work, brake repair, or diesel engine repair is a plus
