The BRIAR team is hiring an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the creation of high-value services and applications for the Internal Audit organization at Amazon.

Lead the planning and road-mapping process for the team.
Identify areas for team engagement and drive high-quality deliverables.
Define an SDLC that promotes growth and ensures timely deliverables.
Define KPIs and incorporate them into planning and development.
Participate actively in team SDLC, providing guidance, reviewing code, and engaging with stakeholders.
Provide coaching and mentoring for team members weekly.

Lead the team through the daily SDLC, addressing blockers and providing guidance.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of team management experience.
7+ years of engineering team experience.
3+ years of designing systems experience.
8+ years of leading web services development experience.
Knowledge of engineering practices and development life cycles.
Experience working with product or program management teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in communicating with users and senior leadership.
Experience in recruiting, hiring, and mentoring teams of Software Engineers.
