Responsibilities

  • Leading, guiding, and developing team members (m/f/d) to contribute to achieving company goals
  • Coordinating all tasks in the laboratory, including employee training, planning, prioritizing, and task assignment
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Implementing and prioritizing measures for continuous improvement of quality-related processes
  • Conducting investigations on process capability, measurement repeatability and reproducibility, and supporting the release of tools, machinery, and production processes
  • Creating quality plans
  • Coordinating activities in the areas of manufacturing technology, production, supply chain, mechanical engineering, and quality management to solve quality-related issues such as high scrap rates, rework effort, or production interruptions
  • Acting as a technical contact in communication with suppliers
  • Leading and conducting tests with highly toxic gases such as ammonia, chlorine gas, hydrogen sulfide, or hydrogen cyanide on respiratory filters and self-rescue devices
  • Leading and conducting tests with carbon monoxide on filter self-rescuers and oxygen self-rescuers
  • Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and calibration of various testing equipment in terms of software and hardware
  • Responsible for measuring specific data of raw materials and chemicals, including process documentation, evaluation, and release
