Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Honeywell Experion PKS, Safety Manager, and Triconex.
This role involves designing control systems, implementing process control schemes, and collaborating with process engineers to enhance unit operations.Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain DCS systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
Conduct routine hardware and software maintenance tasks for DCS systems.
Provide support during system startup and implement necessary control modifications.
Develop and execute process control strategies to enhance refinery equipment and processes.
Design and fine-tune process controllers for optimal performance.
Develop and review control logic on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Perform economic evaluations for project scoping and post-implementation analysis.
Define project scopes for control and advanced process control projects.
Develop and deploy advanced DCS calculations and programs.
Optimize and maintain advanced process control programs.
Manage DCS and Advanced Control contractors effectively.
Establish and maintain procedures for implementing and maintaining Control Systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience with DCS systems, particularly Honeywell Experion PKS, Safety Manager, and Triconex.
10+ years of experience
Proficiency in PLCs and control logic development.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to optimize processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in refinery or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
