    We are seeking a skilled Security Project Manager to oversee and execute various security projects within our organization.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development, execution, and completion of security projects while ensuring adherence to budget, quality standards, and project timelines.

    The Security Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, develop project plans, allocate resources, mitigate risks, and deliver exceptional security outcomes.


    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, priorities, and constraints.
    • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, budget, and technology.
    • Oversee the execution of security projects, ensuring tasks are completed within budget and schedule.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and interpret data for project evaluation and reporting.
    • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
    • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to senior management.
    • Manage project budgets, including accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
    • Evaluate project outcomes against established goals and identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
    • Stay updated on emerging security technologies, trends, and industry standards.
    • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess lessons learned and identify process enhancements.
    • Maintain effective documentation of project-related activities, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering).
    • Proven work experience as a Project Manager in the security domain.
    • Solid understanding of security principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, etc.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Proficient in project management tools and software.
    • Ability to think critically, analyze problems, and identify effective solutions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Proactive mindset and ability to react quickly to changing project dynamics.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
    • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements is preferred.
