- Lead the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects related to liquid product manufacturing processes, including but not limited to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality, and safety, to identify project requirements, develop project scopes, and ensure successful project implementation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments to support project decision-making and investment planning.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and engineering firms to procure equipment, materials, and services as needed for project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and support to plant operations, maintenance, and production teams to optimize liquid product manufacturing processes and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and technical staff to develop their skills and capabilities in project management and engineering design.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project engineering or process engineering roles within the food manufacturing industry, with specific experience in liquid product manufacturing processes preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in process design, equipment selection, and process optimization for liquid product manufacturing.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing engineering projects from concept to completion, including project planning, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to food manufacturing, such as FDA, USDA, and GMP guidelines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, is preferred.
- Professional engineering licensure (PE) is a plus.
