** Part Time Cashier/Relief Utility Worker**

**Description**

Under the direct supervision of the Food Services Supervisors, Cashiers perform a variety of services, including ringing up customers in the cafeteria and serving food to visitors at Enloe Medical Center. Also responsible for the clean-up and stocking of the cafeteria and retail sales areas.

**$15.50/hour**

**Friday 2pm- 10:30pm, Saturday-Sunday 5pm-11:30pm**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them.

Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other functions and services.

Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by station assignment.

Maintain clean service areas.

Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. ensure guests are satisfied with the food.

Ability to utilize computers and software such as POS systems and basic office functions.

Respond promptly and courteously to any request.

Be ready and willing to assist fellow associate's as situations arise.

Be ready and willing to assist with clearing tables.

Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.

Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation as directed by the cafe manager or immediate supervisor.

Attends scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager or manager on duty.

Adheres to dress code, where's approved uniform, and name badge at all times.

Reads, signs acknowledgment, and complies with all Thomas Cuisine management policies and procedures.

Adheres to all department and facility rules, guidelines, and policy and procedures

Participates and attends departmental meetings, huddles, and staff development programs.

**Requirements****:**

Proficient in verbal and written English language.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must have the ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly.

Must be able to self-motivate and have time management skills.

Adhere to the dress code; appearance is neat and clean.

Report to work on time and as scheduled.

Maintain a positive working relationship with physicians, departments, and staff

Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers and other associates.

Follow caf guidelines concerning guest services, food, and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pound
