Job Overview:

ProcDNA is a dynamic consulting firm with a strong presence in the US and an expanding global footprint.

With three offices located in South San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston, we are committed to providing top-notch consulting services to our diverse clientele.

Our team of 30 dedicated employees is the backbone of our success, and we are now looking to enhance our capabilities with the addition of a skilled Computer Technician.


We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Computer Technician to manage and oversee our computer network and IT infrastructure across our US offices.

This role is initially offered on a part-time contract basis, with the potential for full-time employment as the company continues to grow.


Key Responsibilities:


Laptop Management:


  • Coordinate the ordering, setup, and distribution of laptops for all US employees.
  • Manage inventory and perform routine maintenance and updates.

IT Infrastructure Oversight:


  • Ensure all office locations are equipped with necessary IT equipment, including printers, monitors, conference room phones, and other related technology.
  • Handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of office IT infrastructure.

Security and Policy Implementation:


  • Work collaboratively with our IT support team in India to ensure the implementation of appropriate security policies and protocols across all US offices.
  • Educate and assist employees with best security practices and compliance with company IT policies.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups
  • Educate endusers on basic computer operations and best practices for data security

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and commonly used software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to travel between US office locations as needed.
  • Relevant IT certifications will be considered an asset.
