The Grove Hotel is looking for seasonal room attendants for our 63 room property located in Cherry Grove, NY. We are looking for team-players with great attention to detail and the ability to work in an inclusive environment. $500 retention bonus will be extended to staff that remain employed until the end of the season

Hotel Room Attendant Job Responsibilities:

Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house in a timely manner.
Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
Responds timely to guests' special requests such as, but not limited to extra towels and/or full room housekeeping service.
Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
Reports necessary maintenance items to front desk and direct supervisor.
Follows departmental policies and procedures.
Follows all safety and sanitation policies
Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
Performs additional duties as needed.

Transportation on the Sayville Ferry will be covered by the hotel.

Hotel Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to turnover rooms quickly and efficiently
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Positive attitude and willingness to be a part of a team
Previous housekeeping experience a plus, but not required. We will train the right people
Ability to communicate effectively with the rest of the team
