Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Captain to join our team. As a Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a vessel. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage a crew.


Responsibilities:

• Operate and navigate the vessel in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure compliance with all maritime laws, regulations, and safety protocols
• Manage and supervise the crew members on board
• Maintain communication with shorebased personnel and other vessels
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the vessel
• Handle emergency situations and make critical decisions as needed
• Ensure proper rigging and operation of equipment on board
• Conduct regular safety drills and training sessions for the crew

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Captain or in a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of maritime operations, including navigation, safety procedures, and vessel maintenance
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and address any equipment issues
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with crew members, shorebased personnel, and authorities

Note:
This position requires a valid TWIC, Medical Certificate and Merchant Mariner Credential with Master of Towing Endorsement.
