Your tasks: - Hardware design, development and release of LIDAR sensors for JENOPTIK Smart Mobility Solutions
- Setup of test systems for calibration and production of LIDAR sensors
- Coordination of collaboration with different departments, for example providing feedback after tests, production difficulties or technical support issues
- Collaboration with external companies in the field of development and manufacturing
- Technical support for authorities in the approval of devices
- Ensuring that regulatory approvals such as eye safety, CE, FCC and UL are completed
- Participation in the technologies, tools and techniques used by the team
Your profile:
- University degree in electrical engineering and electronics or other relevant experience
- Excellent C/C++ skills for implementing measurement systems and creating test environments
- Knowledge of laser technology and experience in optics is desirable
- Enjoyment of working in an agile environment
- Ideally, knowledge of optical measurement technology and experience with EMC and electrical
