- Work independently and supervise projects from start to finish.
- Meeting with town/municipal inspectors, pulling permits and attending planning and zoning meetings.
- Responsible for finalizing details for job completion/invoicing, closing out projects, obtaining Certificate of Occupancy, etc.
- Monitoring of subcontractors for projects within the current portfolio.
- Work with the Construction Manager and Sr.
Superintendent on cost estimating, construction process, and overall budget stewardship. - Review and inspect work (field visits) to assure quality workmanship and adherence to plans, shop drawings, etc.
- Occasional overnight travel will be necessary.
- Minimum 2 years or more of experience as a superintendent on self-storage, industrial and/or related commercial projects.
- An organized problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership in managing/leading multiple subcontractors and projects at once.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Procore and SharePoint.
- High School diploma or GED.
