How you make a difference:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your main responsibility is to provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
You will collaborate with Charge Nurses to offer patient education and activities in line with your competencies and education.
This position demands exceptional communication and critical thinking skills to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurses and other staff as needed.
- Execute medical plans by administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and aiding in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary.
- Monitor controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care following established policies and procedures.
- Record nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required, and participate in mandatory staff meetings and training.
- Share information with nursing staff, physicians, healthcare unit supervisors, or other staff members as needed.Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
Experience
- Preferably, at least one (1) year of clinic experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- Must possess and maintain current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
- CPR certification is required and must be kept up to date.
