Atrium Health Levine Childrens is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician to join their team of 75 + providers, working at our 5 Pediatric Hospitalist locations in the greater Charlotte area.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a community setting as the Pediatric resource, attending deliveries and providing care in a level 2 nursery as well as working at the regions premier childrens hospital with exposure to a wide range of inpatient cases.
Schedule consisting of 8-9 shifts/month at Atrium Health Levine Childrens Hospital, and 7-8 shifts/month providing 24/7 regional coverage at Atrium Health Lincoln.
Weekend coverage 1 out of every 2.6 weekends on averageThis will be an inpatient role, with an average 4-6 newborns per-day at Lincoln and 12-20 patients per-day at LCH with APP support.
Lincoln coverage includes being within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-service to be available for delivery coverage. Average daily census is between 4-6 newborns/day, and may include patients in the Level II nursery. There is an NRP trained team on the ground at all times, including RN and RT support.Board certified or Board eligible in General Pediatrics is required. Experience in inpatient pediatric medicine is preferred, open to new graduates
