About the Activities Assistant Position:

We are in search of a dynamic Activities Assistant to become part of our team at a Skilled Nursing facility in Los Angeles.

This esteemed organization is dedicated to serving retirees from the arts and motion picture industry, offering resources and support to enhance their quality of life.

What We Offer for the Activities Assistant Position:

Pay Rate: $20.08/hour

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexibility required for occasional weekends and evenings)

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

Transport residents to the activity room, pushing wheelchairs from the Skilled Nursing facility.
Assist with therapeutic and recreational activities (crafts, art, music).
Maintain resident engagement throughout the day, encouraging motivation and participation.
Accompany residents to the onsite theater, ensuring safety and comfort during films.
Set up and clean activity areas, ensuring a safe, supportive environment.
